Owner is very nice at this store. I brought in a rug that I wasn't sure what it's value was. Unfortunately it was not a real Persian rug but the owner was very nice and showed me the difference between machine and handmade rug. Hopefully one day I will be able to purchase one of their unique rugs.

Mahmoud and his staff are the best! They picked up and cleaned five of our Persian rugs last year and did an amazing job! When the rugs were delivered back to us, the colors of our rugs bacame so vibrant, so clean. I referred them to my parents two weeks ago.they picked up 5-6 of their rugs, not only cleaned them profesionally, but also did repair work on three of them.

Their work is second to none! Very friendly, courteous and professional service! And I found that their prices are very reasonable compared to others in the area. Thank you to the owner, Mahmoud and his entire staff!

We had some very dirty/covered-in-pet-hair/stinky carpets that were put away in storage that way that desperately needed a good cleaning. We called here and they were very friendly and helpful on the phone. The carpets were picked-up and dropped off for us. The gentlemen who picked up our rugs was also very knowledgeable about carpets. The whole process was very simple for us and the price was very reasonable.

The carpets look great now! Some have been in our family for over twenty years and they have life again. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to have their rugs cleaned.

I got an old Persian rug cleaned here that was purchased from an estate sale. The price quoted for cleaning the rug was fair and I paid an extra $50 for pick-up/drop-off. I don't live anywhere nearby and it was completely worth it for the convenience. They arrived exactly when they said they would and noted that my rug had some damage, which they offered to repair.

My rug was in truly terrible condition but I declined the repair. No problem, and they expertly rolled up the rug, carefully tied it, and left. When I got the rug back, it was 1000000x cleaner. Truly worth the price I paid and I will not go anywhere else for future rug cleaning or repair.

We had a badly moth eaten 5X8 wool rug we wanted repaired. They picked it up at our house (right on time w/no contact). After seeing it they gave us a price. A week later it was brought back to our house. We were amazed with the result. The color match was perfect and you can't see the repair. We couldn't believe how inexpensive the repair and washing were. Very responsive and pleasant to deal with.

Jahann and Sons does an exemplary job with everything, advice, cleaning and repair. Mr. Rafi who picks up and delivers comes on time and does wonderful rebinding. Mr. Mahmoud, the owner, is pleasant and reliable and and has an encyclopedic knowledge of all kinds of rugs. His daughter Katie is alsa very accommodating and attentive. I would never trust my rugs to any other firm.

We had 5 rugs cleaned - including two persian rugs that had not been cleaned in 25 years because they were so large. We also needed new trim around the edges of some of the rugs. Our rugs are unbelievably beautiful in their new home as we have moved. Also, Jahann gives very personal and responsive service. Highly recommend!

I was super impressed with the service and quality of this rug cleaning service. I called them, they came in two days (they offered to come the next day), gave me an accurate estimate and were polite and careful. Then, when the rug was delivered (also promptly), they arrived and laid out the rug to my liking. The rug looked amazing--we had inherited a dull, not very pretty rug.

What came back to us was bright and beautiful without one stain on it. In addition, there was no odor from the cleaning. They were so wonderful to deal with every step of the process. I will never use anyone else!

This is a small gem in Kensington - a store with beautiful rugs and salespeople who are informative and helpful. I bought a Persian rug there last year and have been very happy with the quality and the service that I received. I will go back. Prices are quite reasonable so bargain - it's worth your time.

They picked it up and delivered it according to my preference and did a wonderful job cleaning it! Its a very old rug so its looks so fresh and bright now! Also their pricing beats the competition hands down.

Fantastic service. I brought in an oriental rug for cleaning - they did an amazing job! They also noticed that the fringe was coming undone and fixed that perfectly. This is a rug my old relative had probably never moved, and likely had never had cleaned. It came out looking better than when I brought it in. I was also told if I took care of it I wouldn't have to have it cleaned again for years.

They definitely know how to take care of quality products. I also had a cheap rug cleaned here (didn't see the point in going to two places). It was not beneath them to clean an ikea rug, and it was definitely cheaper. High end and low end rugs both look great.

Have used Jahann for cleaning and repair work on Turkish rugs. Have been consistently satisfied with quality of work, customer service, etc.

I am so pleased with my experience with Jahann and Sons! I got a same day pick up of my beautiful Afghan rug; the owner himself picked it up for cleaning! In less than a week it was returned to me in amazing shape and a stain that I was concerned about was almost completely removed! I would highly recommend them for rug cleaning services. Jahann and Sons has great prices and even more fabulous customer service. The owner is an honest and thoughtful man. We were looking for Persian rugs with specific colors and specific geometric patterns (Kahzak). He combed through many many rugs with us, and ultimately sent to his factory not once but twice to have them send several rugs he thought we might like.

The first set wasn't to our liking so he sent for more. He was very patient with us and gave us a great deal for two rugs. They are beautiful hand, woven wool rugs - top quality.

I had a wonderful shopping experience at Jahann & Sons! I had been on a quest for a large, traditional oriental rug for my dining room, but could only spend a moderate amount ($2000). I spent 3 weeks searching the whole DC area (incl Alexandria, Annapolis & Ellicott City). Jahann & Sons was one of the first places I went - so I didn't realize until after seeing many others, that they had not only a great selection, but by far the fairest prices for top quality rugs.

The ower & his wife are wonderful people who did not pressure me at all. They have a generous return policy and were willing to let me take the rug home "on approval". I now have a magnificent, high qualtiy 8x10 rug that is the centerpiece of my home! I plan to go back to buy some small rugs from them too - and will encourage all of my friends & family to go here too!

The high priced rugs at premium commercial locations in Bethesda are twice as high or more. The owner here is terrific.

I was referred to this store by a good friend. I was looking to get an heirloom carpet cleaned. What I got was amazing service and an education! This is a family owned business, and that is how you feel when you are here, part of the family. I brought in the rug, the owners opened it, examined it, and gave me a bit of a history of the type of rug I brought in, how it was made, etc.

They agreed it needed some TLC (it was my Great Grandmother's) and took the job. I took some time to browse around and look at other rugs. They have some beautiful rugs here, and Katie and her Dad were full of information about the designs, the origin of the pieces (each is it's own piece of art), and how to determine what is appropriate for your needs and style.

They are so helpful! My rug? was cleaned and repaired at a very reasonable price, was done when promised, and it looks great in my home. Great, personal service, as well as fine quality is what you'll find here.

My mom bought two rugs from Jahann and Sons, and I went with her to pick them out. You get great attention from the owner and get a great show when he starts flipping through what looks like unorganized piles of rugs to find exactly the color and style you want. We came away with two high-quality persian rugs for great prices. We haven't been to the new location, but I'm sure you'll still get the same great customer service.
