The most incredible tailor. Mustafa graciously tailored a gown for me that I needed done ASAP. He was kind and understanding. Extremely fair pricing. I will ALWAYS go to him for tailoring.

Dishonest. Lost 4 items. Denied they had them for weeks. They told me 3 times they searched. Admitted they found them on 4th attempt. when i arrived no apology and still insisted i pay after making a trip for items they attempted to steal. dont use this company. if you do you need to photograpgh your items. unreliable and disgraceful.

My daughter and son in-laws wedding dress and suit were in a flood. They were dirty and started to have mold form on them. We thought they weren't going to be able to get their wedding clothes back to restored. I decided to give it a try and see what Battistons could do for them. One week later I had my son in laws suit back and it looked perfectly clean, mold free and pressed like it had just come from the store.

Two weeks later I went to go look at my daughters dress and it was perfect. It was as if it had never been sitting in a flood of water. Once I gave my thumbs up they immediately packed it in the preservation box so she now can treasure her wedding day memories for years to come. Thank you to Battistons for taking such great care of their special wedding day mementos.

Had a wedding this past weekend and everything leading up to it was a fiasco! My dress was tailored by another business and when I finally got to pick it up, I brought it home to try it on - my sniffly toddler gave me a big hug while I was in it, and the material instantly stained the day before the wedding. I brought it to Battiston's because their website said the location offered same day service if it was dropped off before 10am. Luckily, this was on my way to work so I was able to meet that cut off no problem.

It was ready by 3pm and it was perfect! What was also great was that at the wedding it got spilled on and when it dried, I couldn't even tell! Very happy with the results! The only thing that bothered me was the person I dropped it off with was kind of curt; she also said she didn't know if they'd be able to do same day, even though I dropped it off by 8am. I'm sure there were other items that came before mine, but I don't think if you openly offer same day that that should be an issue

I'm not sure why I've been here more than once now, given that all the employees I've ever interacted with are in a bad mood, have too much attitude, and don't seem to care about their customers. Even regular people don't treat each other like the employees treat their customers. I'll no longer be giving this place my business, and I will be telling friends and family to avoid them.

I don't usually complain but they've been EXTREMELY rude to every single one of my family members. Just to let people know they have temporary hours at the moment. I walked to the door and the lady yells "We're closed" and shrugs her shoulders. Honestly that was the last straw. Never going there again.

Not a bad spot but I'm still trying to find a consistent go to place I like all around in Simsbury and Avon for dry cleaning. The quality is good but I didn't feel especially welcome as a new customer spending upwards of $40 on my first drop.

Always a pleasure doing business in the South Windsor store. Everyone is very friendly and there work is always impeccably! I have been going to them for 26 years! Absolutely the best

First, we have had friendly service and they got the oil off my new coat-yeah! However, today my masked husband picked up his order and noticed 2 maskless employees that also failed to social distance-walked less than one foot of him to reach the end of the service counter. Two other cashiers behind plexi wore masks. Until they follow the rule of mask wearing of ALL employees, we won't return.

Battiston's is good except they don't have a sign or anything saying how many quarters you need to put in for the time on the machines.

The tailor inside Battisons does awesome work! Our drapes were hemmed and pressed perfectly, it was well worth the money.

We worked with Battiston's on a recent mold recovery job. They handled the dry cleaning and fabric care like the seasoned pros they are and Kevin and Matt did a nice job on-site. We here at United Restoration of CT & NY will work with Battiston's anytime.

Pulled in at 5:25 - they close at 6 per their everything. The guy walks towards the window gesturing a slit throat. Assuming that means he decided to close. really bad.

They did an excellent job dry cleaning my suit. I asked them 2 days after I dropped it off if it was ready and they told me all of their clothes from 2 days ago were ready. Very good service here.

Awesome place! Left an overcoat for over a year by mistake. I went in and they looked up with phone number and had it in storage. Great job tailoring too! Very honest and I highly recommend this place!

I dropped off a suit and a button-down shirt to be dry cleaned on my way to work this week, and picked them up this morning. When I dropped off the clothes, I was asked if I wanted delivery service, which I used to have years ago, while living at my former address. I said I did not want the delivery service, and updated my address with the clerk, in case I wanted delivery service in the future.

This afternoon, I received a phone call from a delivery person working for Battiston's, asking if I wanted delivery service, and he mentioned my old address. So, clearly, my response of "no" and providing my new address to the clerk went nowhere. Seems very disorganized from a communications standpoint. Also - I think a drycleaning fee of $20.18 for a jacket/pair of pants business suit is obscene. Also, over $4.00 for cleaning of a cotton button-down shirt. Overpriced, disorganized and the clerk at the Avon store that was there when I dropped off and picked up my clothes (same person) barely acknowledged me and looked completely miserable to be there. I can understand why!

I have been a customer of Battistons for 30 years. I called yesterday to complain about my clothes and how over the past few months my clothes will come back with buttons missing, my shirts are looking worn and they sent back a shirt that was frayed. I called and spoke to Mike ( new owner) and complained. He could not have been more rude. The place has steadily gone down hill since the family sold. I am done. 30 years!

So here we are, instead of picking up my dry cleaning before the advertised closing time of 6pm on a Saturday, I picked up a smug gesture free of charge! Literally pulled right in front of the store at 530pm and was given the finger side to side under the neck gesture through the window - hint: current NFL players now get flagged 15 yards for this. Thanks.

Hey at least it only cost me my time and gas, and on the bright side you're open on Sund.oh wait. I might've given this person the benefit of the doubt had I arrived within 5 mins of the closing hour and/or they were open tomorrow. The best part is the guy made eye contact, saw I wasn't leaving, and proceeded to the lock the door - I envisioned this going through his head "nope, not getting through this lock buddy, better luck next time!" 0 customer service. Hold this 1 star Battiston's of Avon, you earned it.

I had cat urine on my very expensive comforter and asked them to dryclean it for me. The woman at the desk said that dry cleaning wouldn't kill the odor and that washing would be much more effective, and she pointed me in the right direction and even gave me laundry pods because I didn't think to bring soap. She saved me about sixty dollars and was super helpful.

A very reliable place to get your shirts dry-cleaned, starched and ironed all for about $2 - cant beat that price! Owner is great and very friendly, staff is very efficient.

Over the phone they told me that linen shirt dry cleaning will be $8.50 and charged $10.10 at the end. When I asked about it, front desk has no clue and they don't want to fix. They made me pay for $15 for VIP by saying that I will get $5 for every $30.00. In fact they gave me only $15.00 discount for $150.00 order. Asked them to box all my shirts and they didn't do it.

More over they are clueless. This will be my last visit and will take my business some where else. First time I thought, there should be zero rating too. They are not fit even a Single star.

I enjoyed the great service and location but was a bit faltered by the price. I spent almost $50 to have a few shirts cleaned and pressed. To be precise, it was 6 dress shirts. Not sure if that's cheap or not. Turnaround time took 3-4 days.

I had a very bad experience here with two counter clerks. They would not accept my legitimate Living Social discount and refused to call the owner as they said that they had no phone number. A "manager" appeared and started to listen to my story and one of the clerks started interrupting. Then He got a phone call, walked away and never returned. I was angry and told them that this is terrible customer service at which point the clerk said that I was being rude to her because she was black.

Imagine being called racist for no reason. Finally a very helpful woman came out and accepted my discount while the clerks in the back kept screaming about the whole incident. I will never return to this business and if the owner reads this I suggest that you retrain your help and make sure that they can reach you in case of a problem.

I needed a suit coat drycleaned ASAP, seems it had a close encounter with a piece of food that annoyingly fell off my fork and left a nasty stain on the left lapel. Anyway, I brought it in Monday night, which was very cool because they were open until 8 PM. I asked the friendly clerk when it could be done and she said "how about tomorrow?" I picked it up today, it cost $9.75 and it looks brand new. Yay, I'm a fan.

Battison's was called upon by our insurance company after a fire in our home to provide laundry and dry cleaning services to us. From socks to suits, bedding to carpets, even stuffed animals, they cleaned it all. Their services were professional and they were on time with each delivery back to our home. They made a difficult situation a whole lot easier!

We had Battiston's take down our dining room drapes, clean and re-hang them. We couldn't be happier. They were prompt, professional, and did an excellent job. They actually spent 1 1/2 hours hanging and fussing with them to make them perfect! We recommend them highly.

I brought a dress here to have it dry cleaned thinking that Battiston's has a good reputation. wrong! I took my dress out of the bag to wear to a wedding and much to my dismay, it was attached to the hanger with safety pins! I now have a beautiful dress with 4 holes in it thanks to Battiston's! There was absolutely no need to attach the dress to the hanger in this manner as it had hanging straps inside of the dress. Please beware of this terrible business!
