Smart Window Cleaning

Very disappointed. Can't believe I am writing this review about paid professionals. Said they would charge $80/person-hour. Two workers worked 1 hour & 40 minutes each, with reasonable break time included, for a total of 3 & 2/3 person-hours. That would be a charge of $294. However, they wanted to charge me $400 at the end of the job. I wrote a check for $320 which would cover 4 person-hours.

Later I walked around the house and found: Streaked, smudged dirty windows with scratches I don't previously recall. Broken screens. Broken off metal screen frame tabs that one uses to maneuver the screens. The workers left some of them on my desk but did not tell me. Dried drippings from their dirty soap water buckets were scattered around the house.

I let the manager of the business know. Update: Smart Window Cleaning states they will have broken screens repaired, address windows that weren't well cleaned & charge work fairly. Will update when all work is done.

This is the second time I've called on Devin with Smart Window Cleaning to clean the windows in my house! He does an outstanding job! Inside, outside, including second story windows. He's punctual, pleasant & meticulous! I highly recommend Smart Window Cleaning!

Smart Window team came yesterday and did a good, careful job. They aren't inexpensive, but I want an insured company for this kind of thing. The scheduling is warm and well-handled by Damon, and just now they're coming quite soon after you request an appointment. It's great to have clean windows again. I do always make sure I'm here and paying attention--there was one moment when a ladder was about to be propped against a place that would not have held it had I not stopped it.

But I have a weird old house, and I don't mind being around and keeping an eye out. I've been with this company since a predecessor one-person operation closed down and passed them his client list, and they keep good notes on what you need and what the job is. Last: I asked the team to stay masked and take off shoes inside, and they were very good about both. Team boss was a pleasure to work with in every way.

Don't use this company you will be sorry. They damaged every screen in my house. These guys are a blow and go company that could care less about your house. They used a screw driver to remove screens from outside rather then using the tabs on the inside of the screen.

Hired these guys several years back to clean my windows. They were in such a hurry that they used a screwdriver to pop my screens from the out side. Now every single one of my screens is bent and damaged were they pryed them off. A professional company would of poped them from the inside like they are designed. All of my screens look like the one pictured with screwdriver damage in the bottom.

Check out the pictures all my screens are like that now. They don't care just want to take your money and run. Screens were not old as the owner implies house was new construction and screens were only a few years old. To the owner come by anytime and look at the damage your crew caused.

Smart Window Cleaning has serviced our windows for years, and are a really skilled and efficient team. Damon promptly returned my call for scheduling. Carlos and crew were prompt, friendly, neat and did a fabulous job cleaning our large assortment of 20 year old windows with steep hillside access. Highly recommend.

This is a re- review from my first experience. I guess they hadn't realized I was a first time client and referral. so they came back to do the real job of cleaning out the gutters, not just blow and go. I think they did an ok job on most of them accept the one towards the front of the house, I have photos to show. Made a mess when it rained. They also did not put most of the gutter covers back properly-

As a good home owner I had my gutters cleaned right before autumn. My neighbor recommended Smart Window cleaning. The guys showed up on time. With a leaf blower, that's it. I questioned it and asked about them cleaning inside the gutters, and test with water? They said this works fine and not to worry, they don't need it. 12 min later they done. Really? Paid them $150 A couple weeks later we had massive winds and I ended the leaning the gutters myself with my leaf blower and an extended angled brush broom.

Now we're having rain and the gutters are pouring water out of the seams of the drain pipes, I'm sure since they were not cleaned properly. This hasn't happened before with other cleaning companies I called to ask about it today and the man Damien who answered was a little rude and told me it had been too long, that I needed to call within a week.

Well I actually did call after the guys left saying all they did was blow. Again I was told it would be fine. Save your money and get a real gutter cleaning company. Of course the pics are when the rain let up so it's not pouring out as heavily

While the worker did an excellent job cleaning most of the windows, I was quite dissapointed that he did not bring ladders to clean a second-story outside window. He claimed they had none and he cleaned outside windows from the inside. However, I engaged Smart Window Washing because I had previously read positive reviews about such and neighbors in my multi-story complex praised their work. Also, I consider him and his employer professionally irresponsible because he is unvaccinated and bragged about it. And using my bathroom facilities, he did not wash his hands!

I was thoroughly disappointed with their most recent window cleaning service. Last year Damon sent 2 people to clean one side of a duplex in Tiburon and they cleaned all the windows and did a decent job, and worked quickly, NOT cleaning screens or tracks of the sliding glass doors, but at least cleaning the glass. This year, i was told the charge would be the same, two different workers arrived at 8:30 am, and spent 15 minutes checking out the view and even walking down to the boat deck (no windows there!).

They cleaned i level of my 3 level home: my l.room and kitchen windows and stairwell, and left two entire floors untouched (all bedrooms and office level), and by 9:25 am, was smoking a cigarette at their truck, loading up, and departed at 9:30 am, charging the same as last year, when they cleaned all windows in this duplex! I have used Smart Window cleaning for 5 of my rental properties in the past---needless to say, disappointing this time around.

SMART is you for using this company! My parents were customers 30 years ago and I remain a thankful very happy customer! It's like an art watching them, their attention to detail is what separates them from competitors. That's what my neighbor said when he saw them at my house. They are fair, affordable and professional! And easy to communicate with - talk to real people?! You won't be disappointed!

Another year of using Smart Windows. And again they were on time, professional and did a great job. Worker showed up and wasted no time getting the job done. Perfect job again.

I hired them to clean windows at a house that I was putting on the market soon. They did a terrible job and when I called them they said it was my fault for not explaining how dirty the windows were. They were charging be my the hour and never communicated that the job was not complete. He finally hung up on me after I said that he should have told me if they needed more time or had issues with the condition of the windows. Overall very poor communication, poor quality work, and unprofessional.

Thorough, professional, trustworthy and clean windows! How do they do that without streaks? I am in the process of selling my parents' home and the windows hadn't been cleaned for a lonnnnggg time. Jose was fantastic. He even did the giant skylight in the living room! Tracks were cleaned. Screens were taken off. My husband & I think we will never do our own windows again! LOL

We have used Smart Window Cleaning for years and have always had a good experience. This past week Oscar cleaned our windows, very meticulously. We were very satisfied with his work.

Did a fantastic job on a scorching hot day. Showed up on time, very nice, got straight to work, worked hard. Did an excellent job for a reasonable price. Highly recommend.

I highly recommend Smart Window Cleaning. They were very responsive, communicated well and did a fantastic job cleaning the windows in my 3rd floor condo. Scheduling an appointment was easy. They followed up with both confirmation and reminder emails. They arrived on time and did an excellent job, leaving my windows sparkling clean inside and out. I was very pleased with their professionalism, quality of work and price.

Smart is the absolute fantastic! Rick has cleaned our windows for years and we have huge windows! Look no further!

BUYER BEWARE: non-professional crew, do not show up on time (1 hours late), inadequate supplies (dripping water all over window trim; floors). Do not remove shoes or use clean booties. "Manager" (Carlos)-who finally shows up is nasty and argumentative. They don't even deserve a star.a big waste of my time. And alot of aggravation.

Brad did a sparkling job on my solarium. Wow it is a difficult job and now I can see the stars!

If I could give a zero I would. Total lack of professionalism. The guy that came out was rude and borderline scary. I was given a quote of $260-$285. Half way through once the interior was done the cleaner came to me and said half the job is done and it took him X amount of time, so inorder to finish the price is now $390. So their quote means absolutely nothing.

The work was completed not the best job I have ever seen. Two screens were ripped which I noticed later - the guy never bothered to tell me. But when I heard him cussing all the swear words while rinsing the screens out on my deck - I should have known something was up. Called the office to voice concern/complaint never got a call back - assume this must be routine for them. Do not recommend these people at all. The worst. I have told all my neighbors so I doubt they will be welcomed back to this neighborhood.

While Theo was very pleasant, the job he did was sub-par. Windows had some streaks and screens had dust and fuzz left on them. The bottom of the window sills were left uncleared entirely, something previous window cleaners have always taken care of. The quote was for $330 but I was charged $390 because cutouts took more time than expected. It caused Theo to have to rush through the job, too. I'd rather pay more to get the job done thoroughly and done right.

I hire them every year to clean my windows and they do an excellent job. They're on time, clean my screens, windowsills and the windows and leave the work area spotless. I can't recommend them enough! Great company, great job. You don't find this too much anymore.
