Founded over 35 years ago in 1978 by owner Jay Kennedy, Kennedy Carpet Cleaning offers cleaning services Monday through Saturday. Kennedy Restoration Services began more than 20 years ago in 1993 and offers emergency services 24 hours a day, 365 days per year. The technicians at Kennedy Restoration are all certified by the IICRC and are trained to handle any job of any size.
Everything was great from start to finish. The first call was answered quickly; information, estimate and scheduling all done efficiently. Al showed up right on time, was professional, courteous, asked pertinent questions and got to work. The job was amazing, our carpet looks brand new! Will definitely use Kennedy's again.
An area rug is an excellent addition to any room whether it's in a residential or commercial space. Rugs bring comfort, insulation and an aesthetic flair that's unrivaled by any type of flooring bar none. However, rugs do have the tendency to accumulate pollutants over time. Dust, dirt, spills, pet droppings, dust mites and fungi can all fester in a rug even with regular vacuuming and shampooing. We went to Kennedy Carpet for new wall to wall for our upstairs bedrooms. We met with Maureen who worked diligently to make sure we were happy and kept in touch throughout the buying and installing process. On the day of installation, Sean and Lee made sure to move all our bedroom furniture carefully and did a beautiful job removing our old rug, installing the new rug, and returning our bedroom set to its original position.
They vacuumed and cleaned up so we could enjoy our space. The next day, Sean and Chris tackled the other bedrooms. Again, their professionalism and attention to detail was greatly appreciated! We would highly recommend Kennedy Carpet for carpet removal and installation!

Carpets look brand new, and we didn't break the bank! Al did and amazing job cleaning our basement carpet and stairs. Very professional and knowledgeable. He was able to get gum and multiple stains up we thought would be there forever. Would 100% use Kennedy Carpet again, and recommend to anyone. Service: General carpet cleaning

I just returned to Kennedy Carpet for rug cleaning for the second time. My first visit resulted in clean oriental rugs and new pads at a fair price. The drop off and pick up is easy at the Weymouth location. I wish that was as available in Needham which is closer for me. I noticed that they have a huge selection of nicely priced bound and unbound remnant carpets at the Weymouth location. There were a lot of wool options, and I'll check back next time I'm shopping for a new rug.

Needec quick turn around on 180 sq feet of carpet. Went to location this afternoon. Woman at desk said she was on phone but feel free to look around. She was talking to someone in the next room. Whatever happened to "We have a customer. I will call you back." Looked around then headed toward door. By this time she was off the phone. No " how can I help you?" I left. Told her I would come back when she was less busy. I called National Floors Direct from my car.

Hired to clean my mother's living room and master bedroom carpets. Paid for the platinum service which was to move all furniture. I live 800 miles away and can only visit 3-4 times per year. In recent visit, I noticed that the stains did not come out of the living room carpet nor was any furniture moved in the bedroom. I had to clean the bedroom myself. Called and was referred to manager. Had to leave a voice mail. Never heard back.

I worked for this carpet cleaning company for 14 years. I've moved on to another career, so I have nothing to gain from this. This is a company that truly truly cares about their customers. Their priority is to do a great job. that's it. Other companies want to get into your house and use that as an opportunity to gut you with upselling and fancy sales techniques.
You will never be pressured by Kennedys technicians, you will never be bullied into something you don't need. This is a great family business, and it was an honor to be part of it.

I've used Kennedy Carpet Cleaning for years and was always pleased with the results and service. When it came time to replace my wall to wall carpeting, I went to Kennedy Carpet in Needham, + 2 other places. Kennedy's quote was slightly higher, but being a small, family owned, local business that I already knew and trusted, I decided that was more important than the small price differential.
I was right. even before the installation was completed, it was apparent there was something was wrong with the new carpet. My small dogs couldn't walk across a room without getting their nails caught in the loops resulting in unsightly pulls throughout the house. Instead of stain repellant, it attracted dirt like a magnet. And then there were numerous and indiscriminate lines and shading.
I called Kennedy and within a week, someone came to look at it. He quickly determined that the carpet was defective and assured me Kennedy had my back and would replace it. For the next couple of months there were inspections and a lab testing. The owner himself, Jay Kennedy, came to look at it. But unfortunately, the carpet manufacturer, Godfrey Hirst, denied it was defective and refused to stand behind their product.
Despite this outcome and the monetary implications, Kennedy Carpet kept their word and replaced the entire wall to wall carpet as they said they would (not with another Godfrey Hirst carpet, of course) and they even sent 3 of their best carpet installers who couldn't have been nicer. I am sure the small price differential I initially paid wasn't enough to cover the replacement cost that Kennedy ultimately absorbed. Obviously, the care and customer satisfaction I received was well worth it. But more than that, finding a company you can trust that will stand behind it's product, service and customer, is priceless.
