Atiyeh Bros Rug & Carpet

I have used this company many times to clean my large wool Tibetan area rug. It's an expensive rug and I trust Atiyeh Bros explicitly. I live in Bend and they pick up and deliver - even move my furniture. As far as value, I could probably get it cleaned for less, but my rug is of high quality and want to protect my investment. It comes back looking like new. Also excellent customer service. I highly recommend Atiyeh Bros.

I've used Atiyeh Brothers several times now to clean the carpeting in my townhouse. They have always done an extremely professional job. Last time, a few years ago, I also had them clean a Kashmiri silk rug. This time, I asked about it and was told that given the traffic all it needed was a good vacuuming, which they did. The fact that they didn't try to sell me a service I didn't need carries a lot of weight with me, and makes me want to use them again.

These guys offer great service. They will pick up the rugs and return them in just a few weeks. The did a great job on an Ethan Allen rug I thought was stained. It looks better than when it was new. Thanks, Atiyeh Bros.

Atiyeh Brothers has been our 'go-to' for our area rugs for 15 years (these are on hardwood--I always get carpets and rugs confused). As a long time customer I called to make an appointment to spot treat a rug which my animal had thrown up on. I didn't want to bring it in because it would require movers. The owner was beyond rude and laughed about how rude he was. Then he informed me he didn't want my business.

Atiyeh Bros. did a wonderful job cleaning this chair. They were extremely professional and their expert knowledge was incredible. I also had it Fiber Protected which I am very happy with. I have posted a before and after picture! I will be using them again.

Had a 5x10 rug that was far to large to clean ourselves! The rug was returned to us in excellent condition and far under the time estimate we were given when we dropped it off. Pricing was transparent and seems fair given the quality of the work. No complaints, will absolutely be using them again when our dog inevitably does something else to our beloved rugs!

We have always taken our rugs to Atiyah's to be cleaned. They do an excellent job and are very honest about stains that they can, or maybe can't remove. We have also bought several new rugs from them, great sale prices! Highly recommend.

Atiyeh Bros was able to get a horrible stain out of one of my Crate & Barrel "dry clean only" couch cushions on the very first try. And they were very reasonably priced too. I wish I had taken a before and after picture to post, because it literally looks good as new. I was shocked! I genuinely thought it was ruined beyond repair. And everyone I talked to was a delight to work with. I highly recommend Atiyeh Bros for all your upholstery cleaning needs.

As usual, the Eugene Atiyeh Bros exceeds expectations with their carpet cleaning - my previously cleaned entry rug looks fresh again - they even got out an old coffee stain (which I didn't expect to come out). I've had Atiyeh clean carpets in my home and at their store - I appreciate seeing some of the same people over the years.

I recently worked with the team at Atiyeh Bros and have to say their customer service is off the charts! They worked with me to find the perfect selection. Debbie is a talented designer and the GM Rick goes above and beyond to make a happy customer. I give them 5 starts but would give more if it was available.

Atiyeh cleaned our cream dinning chairs. The chairs had some yellow discoloration likely from moisture damage sitting in storage or a shipping container during our move cross country. They were so friendly and clear that they would do their best but were not promising they could remove all the stains as those are the hardest to come out. We just picked up the finished chairs and they did a wonderful job!

So happy, fair price, all the guys we interacted with at the shop from who helped us load our car to the guys in the back when we paid - everyone was just really nice. Definitely recommend. Definitely would visit again. (We also noticed and greatly appreciated everyone was wearing masks.)

They have deep knowledge about the care of rugs. Their customer service is the best. I have been taking rugs to Atiyeh Bros for 30 years and they are always excellent.

Atiyeh Bros does an excellent job cleaning and repairing area rugs. The people are really helpful and efficient. I've been taking my rugs there for several years. I highly recommend them.

After a major flood in my home I had them pickup and clean several of my Karastan carpets. The carpets were beautiful and I have no problem with the cleaning. The problem is the pad. It sheds constantly and with each vacuuming or dusting I need to clean bits of the pad that is sloughing off! I wish I'd called them sooner and asked to change the pads. Lesson learned don't wait to complain!

I really don't write reviews often but I felt called to for this place. Tim, the service manager?, went above and beyond. I had a super difficult rug to clean - kind of a unique knobby wool deal with 10 years of pet hair wrapped around to bottom of each knob. When we moved we decided to get it professionally cleaned and these guys gave it their standard treatment and delivered it back.

It was still dirty and although I was doubtful that this rug was actually cleanable I called. They picked it back up. On the day it was scheduled for delivery back to us, Tim called me and said he had pulled it off the line because it was still not cleaned and had someone working on it for two hours with a special method. They delivered it a few days later nice and clean.

I was very pleased with the in-home carpet cleaning and an woven rug sent out to Atiyeh's cleaning plant. The contacts by phone and in person were friendly and courteous. When the salesman came to do an estimate for wall to wall carpets he was very knowledgeable. He discussed options, things that would and wouldn't work, the cleaning process and costs.

Once we agreed to go ahead with the cleaning service he called and got us an appointment right away! Also, he took our area rug with him. The gentleman who came to our home to do the cleaning knew what he was doing. He was efficient, attentive and checked in with us frequently. My carpets are clean, the area rug looks brighter and lays much flatter than before. Atiyeh's is very competitively priced with excellent service, I highly recommend them.

I use to think that I could not use Atiyeh for cleaning my carpets. Thinking that they were more expensive then others. Atiyeh is not more expensive and they are very professional and personal - I was amazed and will never use another company to clean my carpets.

I have been using Atiyeh Brothers since first moving to Portland in 1969 (Vic was in the state senate then, later to become governor) they may not be the cheapest, but I've never used anybody else, but they have always been spot on with service, quality and value. With handmade rugs from around the world you want someone who's expertise in rug care proceeds them.

Expensive to clean a rug but can't beat their service and attitude. We took an 8x10 for cleaning and they were flexible with storage after job was complete and helped with loading and unloading to truck. Super friendly and understanding staff.

Love Atiyeh bros and if you love your rugs, you will too! Had a pick up at my old house, two weeks of cleaning my eight Tibetan rugs, and a drop off at my new condo. It went perfectly and the delivery guys were amazing, getting the pad sized just right to the rug. Rugs are gorgeous!

This place is full of miracle workers! They have made my white shag carpet pristine 3 times! They edged a vintage carpet remnant and turned it into a hallway runner for me. And most recently, they cleaned the cat pee out of an Art Deco wool covered chair I picked up. It smells like nothing now, and it didn't change the fabric one bit. I'll never trust my textiles to anyone else.

I brought in two rugs to have customized pads cut. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. The workers were polite and extremely efficient. Great job!

I had this company clean a rug my old dog had unfortunately been peeing on for some time. The stink was considerable. They removed the fringe and revived the rug. Colors are vibrant and no smell. This company charges a fair amount for their work but every penny is worth it. I was very happy with both the process and the outcome.

Professional and friendly staff with outstanding service. Every 10-15 years they take my rugs and return them spotless. Pricey but not if you consider how infrequently I use them (and clean between years myself). Turns out many of the staff have been with the firm for decades, which says something about the company. Highly recommend.

The folks at Atiyeh Brothers are extremely knowledgeable. I learn something new about each tribal rug I take in for cleaning and/or repair. This is the only company I trust with my beloved hand-woven rugs!

We dropped off a rug here for cleaning. It took a bit longer than expected to get it back, but they were upfront with us about that possibility. The rug looked great after they finished. They were able to get some parts of the rug cleaner than others, probably due to the age and soil level, but overall I was happy with the cleaning job.

Recently I brought a handmade Pakistani rug to Atiyeh's for cleaning and was very impressed with their outstanding customer service. When Brannon carried in my rug from the car and rolled it out, he noticed that a couple of corners needed repair, in addition to cleaning. He was very informative about the origin and approximate value of my rug too, which I found very helpful.

During May, Atiyeh's offers a handy 20% discount on cleaning. When I picked up the rug a few weeks later, Brannon rolled it out for me so that I could inspect it. The colors in the rug were so vibrant, and the fringe was pure white again; and the repairs were made so expertly. it looks fantastic! Brannon also took the time to trim the fringe to make it perfectly even. He is an excellent ambassador for Atiyeh's and made the entire experience a pleasure. I'll definitely return and will recommend Atiyeh's to others.

I was very unsatisfied when I took my area rug there to be cleaned. Understandably, my rug was very soiled from my dog peeing on it, so I know it's impossible to get everything out, but it seemed like they didn't even try at all. Not only could you still see all of the pee stains, but it stilled smelled like pee too! I was very un impressed by the quality of their area rug cleaning service.

I would not recommend using them for cleaning your rugs if you have soiled/ pee stains on your rugs. If your rug isn't soiled and it's just dirty, it might work out okay, but otherwise no.

Having dealt with multiple contractors, discovering Atiyeh's was a breath of fresh air! Rami KNOWS his business. I thought price was high until I learned it included everything! I penciled it out, comparing other contractors and suppliers prices and services - no significant difference, except with Atiyeh Bros., one gets the best of everything, carpet, pad, and installation, all arranged by Rami.

The next day Rami comes to inspect job to make certain job is done to Atiyeh standards. We couldn't be more pleased. If you need carpet, skip the stress and call Atiyeh Bros. Add years to your life and carpet! John Hill

Years ago I bought a beautiful area rug at Atiyeh on Division St. Tim helped us pick out the rug. We still see him there when we take our rug in to be cleaned. It should have been a no-brainer for us to just go and buy carpet from Atiyeh when we decided to carpet the upstairs, but instead we shopped around. Although we went to several carpet retailers, we went back to Atiyeh (in Tigard) for several reasons.

First of all, they really know the products. Our salesman, Rami, has been with Atiyeh for 20 years. That says something about him and about the company. A company that keeps employees that long must be treating them right. An employee who has been with a company for 20 years knows the products. For some reason I assumed that Atiyeh was more upscale than other places and would therefore be more expensive.

That wasn't the case at all. In fact their prices were lower. They also didn't seem intent on steering us towards any particular product, and were able to tell us the pros and cons of various carpet types. Finally, the installation guy, Gil, was also a true professional. I got the sense that he had also been doing this for a long time. The carpet looks beautiful. Rami, our salesman, stopped by the day after the job was complete to see that everything was O.K.

I will definitely go back to Atiyeh next time I need to buy any floor coverings. The only thing I might suggest is that they have more information available on carpet components such as glues, fibers, and flame retardants for people who are interested in buying the greenest product available. We ended up buying 100% wool, but there may have been other good alternatives.

Brought two of my Persian rugs to Atiyeh and they did such an amazing job. They even gave a free appraisal of the rugs, which is 10x more than I purchased them. Tim even provided detail information on where it was made authentic persian versus Indian-Persian. Who knew. The 15% discount is amazing, but you'll probably need it if you have a rug you haven't clean for a year; because it may need to go through the ringer two times, making the cost more. Pleasant people and great service. Highly recommend.
