We had six dining room chairs that had the cloth seats just about destroyed by our cat. Caroline was really great helping us pick out an affordable new fabric. They recovered the chairs and also covered the fabric with a plastic covering to protect it. Chairs were ready in just a few days, the price was great and the chairs are beautiful. I would totally recommend Lazar to give some new life to your old furniture.

Lazar interiors really blew it with me, but they made it right after some cajoling. It took a while, but I am pleased with the final resolution. Stay away from Luis. He is not a good employee for them. Adam is a good manger, however. Working with him was congenial after a 'false start.' It's a venerable old company and overall their service and product must be good or they wouldn't have staying in business for so long.

Excellency from A to Z! We like tradition and wanted a new look for our history loaded Sofas. The results exceeded our expectations. And while you would expect this to be extremely pricy we were happy also with the costs. Thank you Caroline and your team! Our Christmas celebration stood out because of our beautiful new furniture.

I engaged with Lazar to re-upholster my dining room chairs. Carolyn was very professional, and helped recommend an outstanding fabric. Pricing was very reasonable. Lazar did an absolutely awesome job! As a result, we went back and had another set of chairs done. Excellent work, very professional, and very reasonable pricing. I would highly recommend Lazar Interiors to anyone in need of upholstery work.

We had Lazar Interiors make cushions for our entire patio set which is pretty big. Just over two years later the stitching is coming undone on every cushion. I have called Adam several times to see about him repairing them and he has not gotten back to me. I sent him pictures of the tears and senth them to him as he asked me to do and have not gotten any reply.
My husband has called him repeatedly with no reply either. The cushions we were told are out of warranty so we will have to pay to have them repaired, I don't think they should have come apart this soon. We are not asking for him to do it for free at this point but do expect him to call us back and fix them for us. have contacted another company who will repair them and they got back to us right away.
For all those happy customers, be aware of the quality. When you have to call them back for their work to be repaired they do not call you back. And you will be calling them back! I'm giving them a 2 star rating which I do not think they deserve simply because they looked nice on our patio.

BE AWARE OF THIS COMPANY! Here is my experience and opinion about this company. We wanted to reupholster a sectional. When Larry came to our house, we told him that 3 things were very important to us. The quality/color of the fabric, and the firmness of the sofa seats. He brought 1 book of swatches from which we had a difficult time picking a fabric.
Very reluctantly he went to his car and brought another book. We picked a Grey color fabric (with great difficulty). On the next morning we decided we should take a second look at the fabric. We went to his shop 1st thing in the morning and asked him to show us what we had selected, he told us that he had left that book in his house. So we told him that we wanted to see more swatches.
His answer was that he had already ordered the fabric (within less than 15 hrs.) and there would be no point in seeing more swatches as he could not change the order. We went to their site while the sofa was being upholstered and asked if we could see the fabric, we were told by Larry's wife that she could not find the sofa. The next day we got a call from Larry that the sofa was ready for delivery.
We told them we want to come and inspect if they had done everything that was agreed upon. We stopped there the next day and saw the color was not right, there were wrinkles all over the sofa and the seats were not firmed (we felt totally cheated). Again he told us he will take care of everything. The next day he called and said everything was done.
We made yet another trip and still found wrinkles. The color did not appear to be the color we originally chose and his wife defended this by saying this fabric changes color in different lights. We got frustrated with this situation and did not want to deal with these people any more. We took the sofa upon delivery and paid them in full the amount of 2200 Dollars for this bad experience.
My purpose of writing this review is to caution everyone about the bad business policies, poor quality and false promises of this company. THIS IS A COMPANY NOT TO BE TRUSTED. STAY AWAY!

BE AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! HIGH PRICE, LACK OF SERVICE! I am not sure if I would trust the 2 reviews on google. My experience with Lazar Interiors left me very frustrated. He comes to your place and gives a very high quote. We were shown some sample blinds and were promised a level of quality within a time frame. We were then asked to sign a contract and make a 50% payment, a very high percentage for no work or product given.
From that point, we waited longer than promised having to improvise with sheets over the windows. After contacting them several times, and a long time past the expected installation, some workers showed up with a low quality blind compared to what we expected. And then not even enough blinds to cover our windows. They said they would come back but never did.
At that moment, I began a search for the cost of these blinds as they had the label on it. I found on this great web: Steve's Blinds & Wallpaper the same blinds for $45 a piece. I can't explain my frustration and now I will have to spend more money in finding a solution for the my windows. My advice: be aware of down payments, products, company and it's promises. Do your research.
