Regency Cleaners began business in 1982 at the University Drive location. Locally owned and operated by the Foley family, Regency Cleaners grew to three strong locations by 1994. In 2001, the Foley's purchased White Star Cleaners and Laundry, a well known, established dry cleaning and Laundromat business with three locations, that has been serving the Durham community since 1930.

I had my Tempurpedic mattress cover dry cleaned here. The service was quite fast and dropping it through the drive-thru was convenient. The mattress cover was cleaned very well and I had received a call prior to cleaning checking if I wanted it to be cleaned because the instructions say, 'Spot clean only.' I appreciate the care they had shown for cleaning my mattress cover in a way which wouldn't ruin it. I highly recommend this dry cleaner.

I used their dry cleaning. It was done well and in a timely manner. The staff is friendly and professional. They text you when the service is complete, which is convenient. The only issue was when I asked for no pleats on some pants they came back with pleats, which is a common laundromat mistake. They contacted me about fixing this issue free of charge. I recommend.

I dropped off a DVF dress and 2 wool sweaters to be dry cleaned. I received an email the following afternoon to advise me my items were ready (sooner than I expected). My clothes all look fresh and lovely. The ladies who work here were all very warm and welcoming and attentive and efficient. I'll be back for sure.

I used this laundry mat and my clothes burned in the dryer. When I tried to explain the situation to the manager he was very rude and I was not properly compensated for my damaged clothes. The machines are out dated and are not properly calibrated, especially for heat. I would not use this place, there is a chance your clothes could be ruined and they will not reimburse you a proper amount to replace them.

Our washer broke while in the middle of packing our son for school. I quickly loaded our car up with the soaking wet load and everything else that had been left to the last minute of course. They greeted me and said there would be no problem to get it all done on short notice. Sure enough we got the call that it was ready, in fact early. Neatly washed and folded.
They certainly came through for us! We have been using their services for close to 18 years and I will continue to use them. Thanks to them for rescuing us from our laundry nightmare!
