Booked a deep cleaning. one person came and did a reasonable cleaning for one person wi 2 hours. this was not a deep cleaning. previous cleaners take 3 to 4 hours with 3 or 4 people. i have cancelled all future cleanings and looking for another service

I used NW Maids for a move-out cleaning. I didn't receive any of my deposit back, the house looked like it wasn't even cleaned. I would not recommend them for a move-out cleaning, I am extremely disappointed. Editing to add: I did contact NW Maids after the cleaning to let them know I was not satisfied with their service. They offered a re-clean, which wasn't an option since I had already given back my keys, so they offered a discount on cleaning services in the future.

I was not interested in having them "clean" my house so I declined. I asked for my money back and was told it wasn't an option. So now I am out $300 for the NW Maids cleaning I paid, plus the additional $700 my landlords charged me to re-clean everything.

I contracted with NW Maids for a full "move out" house cleaning. On the day of the service, I was texted 1 hour before the scheduled arrival time that there was no cleaning crew available. Shocked, I called and requested any crew any time that day. I was told they'd try to assign another crew. But by afternoon, I was informed no cleaners whatsoever would be coming. What a fiasco! My wife and I had to clean the entire house ourselves. Be very careful if considering Northwest Maid Service

Do not use this company, choose anyone else. I used their service for over a year and was decently content initially. The cleans are ok at best but definitely overpriced compared to competitors. They use contract cleaners so different people clean your home each time regardless of repeated requests for the same group. But my most recent frustration and why I will no longer be using their service is that about two months ago I had a scheduled appointment that no one showed up to. Repeated calls to the company and no one bothered to contact me to explain or offer support until 3 days later.

After standing my ground I was offered a free clean that has yet to happen. I have scheduled two appointments in an attempt to get my home cleaned and each appointment has been canceled the day prior. The company gives some lame excuse every time and continues to poorly communicate and take no responsibility for the service they provide. I wish this was the only situation I've encountered with them but it's not. Save yourself the hassle and find a company that takes pride in their work and staff.

This was a nightmare from start to finish. Initially, I requested a quote, and was immediately bombarded with texts and emails containing quotes around the $120-$180 range. Then I booked an appointment and ended with a price of $450+. Ugh but whatever. I received at least 5 different notifications leading up to the appointment, stating the parameters of the arrival time, services being provided, possible cancellation fees, and other details.

Being caregivers and moving homes is a monumental task, so we had to jump through quite a few hoops in order to arrange to be there within the given time, and we specifically scheduled this move out cleaning this particular day because our lease is up on the 31st and we are required to get it professionally cleaned to avoid exorbitant fees by our landlord. Unfortunately, we waited out the entirety of the timeframe within which the cleaners should have arrived, plus another half hour, only to get a text saying the cleaners would not be showing up.

Now we are going to be charged a huge fee by our landlord for not having it cleaned. We were offered a small gift certificate as a consolation, but this is ridiculous considering we only needed this service for this particular day. We have absolutely no use for a gift certificate. And considering the fees we would have been charged for canceling, I believe it's also ridiculous that this company feels they have no responsibility to reimburse us for the fees we will owe for THEIR MISTAKE.

We would have been penalized for canceling, but y'all feel like you can cancel on hardworking folks and have no penalties or anything. Absolutely disgusting that you would treat us this way after you cancelled AFTER your scheduled arrival time, and still have no sense of responsibility.

They kept changing their pricing, they kept giving me the run around. I would call and the phone would ring and ring and ring. No one would pick. No voice mail etc. Then the day of the cleaning no one even showed up. I called again and got the run around. They rescheduled for another day. No discount. No nothing. The day before they called me again and changed the pricing again and gave me the run around again. Needless to say. I cancelled the cleaning. I would NEVER use them. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone. Horrible experience and VERY unprofessional!

I was referred by a friend for their services to perform cleaning on a rental. I am pleased with the efficient and quality service performed. Booking the service was very easy on their website. And I was able to modify the time as schedules change. I would recommend their service for others.

Did not dust. Left puddles of water standing on hardwood floors while moping. When I wiped up the water the floors were still filthy. Did not clean glass shower in master bathroom. Did not clean some sinks or bathtub. Did empty all trash cans. Only spent 2 hours (1 person) that typically takes 2 people 3-4 hours to clean. Charged $309 for 2 hours of work. You should consider any other company for cleaning your home.

Very disappointed. We tried 2x monthly cleanings with them and the cleaners did not show up more often than not. The quality was mixed. One cleaner was great, the next didn't empty trash and put clean sheets directly over dirty ones instead of changing. This business relies heavily on automated feedback and asks constantly for ratings and yet does not seem to be able to address concerns or read emails.

People at the office were nice on the phone, but no one knew what what going on with our situation and it was a new conversation about no shows each time and they seemed surprised that we canceled, after multiple chances to correct and send someone. Then we get the personal email saying, "Is there anything we could have done better? We want to earn your business!" Sigh. Read your emails, take the phone calls with concerns seriously and document. Too bad.

Charged me for cleaning the day before they cleaned. On cleaning day they vacuumed and mopped the entry hall. On the entry hall hardwood floors they left puddles of water. When I cleaned up the puddles I found the floor was still dirty. They did not dust, clean the bathrooms or perform the rest of the work they advertised doing. They did offer to come back and clean again.

But given how poorly they performed on my first cleaning with this company I will not have them back. I sent the photos of all the things wrong and they refused to refund my money. I filed a complaint with the Washington State Office of Attorney General. My recommendation, use another service.

I booked NW maids for a move-out clean and was very happy with the results. The cleaner arrived during the scheduled window and was very communicative. He did a really thorough job with the cleaning, the place was pretty near spotless. Booking with NW Maids was also pretty easy, and it was one of the more affordable services we looked into.

Sunshine did an impeccable job cleaning my place! This was my first time using a cleaning service for my home and I definitely am glad that I did. This was our first experience with a cleaning service and it was great. The team showed up on time and provided us a time estimate (which was crucial drive t we were leaving during the service and we have two young children). When we got home, they were finished and the quality of work and attention to detail was great. Looking forward to our next service!

I booked NW Maids for a move-out clean of my apartment. Getting a quote and booking was super easy, so I decided to book a move-in cleaning for our new place as well. The move-in cleaning had to be rescheduled but that was straightforward. The cleaner was running about 45 minutes late due to some unforeseen circumstances, but she requested that NW Maids inform me, which they did via text.

The house was already pretty clean, but the cleaner did a very thorough job anyway. For the move-out cleaning, the cleaners arrived on time and did got to work. The apartment needed a deep clean, and they did a great job cleaning it to like-new condition.

My experience with NW Maids was overall pretty good. Their cleaners were fantastic, very thorough and on time. The only issue I had was that I scheduled a move out cleaning on the very last day of my lease, and unfortunately their cleaner had a family emergency. They let me know, and did get me into the schedule again but it was 3 days after my lease ended. Part of this is on me for doing it last minute. To their credit, they did offer a discount for their delay, which was much appreciated.

Update from original post: NW Maids solved my issue by having someone come to my home and redo the cleaning. In order for that to happen I had to personally take pictures of everything that I was unsatisfied with (which was the whole house) and email them to customer service. The response and reschedule was quickly taken care of. Moved from 1 star to 3 stars.

One of the best features of NW Maids is that they are consistent with their calendar. They won't cancel or postpone on you. We've had several different folks from their company come to our home and help make it beautiful. The two-hour arrival window is the only reason they're not getting 5 stars. Like most services they only schedule cleanings before 5pm, so if you work from home, you have to juggle rooms.

Dena did a wonderful job. I was grateful for her work and the tips she provided to help keep my space clean. She came prepared with special tools and cleaning agents to make my bathroom sparkle! Five stars! Service: Standard clean

I had a deep cleaning service. I returned to floors that had crumbs on them and were not mopped, counters that were not cleaned, dust on the coffee table, cabinets that were not polished, and a shower which the tile had not been touched. NW Maids clearly did not communicate to the provider the services that were to be provided. The appointment with NW Maids was an inconvenience. I could have completed the service they did in 30 minutes (but NW Maids wanted to charge me $178). I then had to have three phone calls with them to receive a refund.

Great communication, scoping, and providing fast quote. Then very efficient and accommodating scheduling. And finally, the cleaning itself. the couple that came to clean started on time, it was a great job, focused on details, no spot was missed, especially on the floors that required special attention, see the pic. Great job, the house is now squeaky clean! Highly recommend these guys! Thanks!

My place needed a good cleaning and I thought Danielle did an amazing job. The place is spotless, it felt so much lighter in there, and all the small jobs and crevices had been thoroughly cleaned. She was on time, asked questions, and checked in to let me know when she was done. Highly recommended!

I've had NW maids before so this 1 star review is really testament to how they screwed up. Scheduled a service, told me arrival window between 8 - 10am. Its past 10, i tried calling their main phone number, about 4 - 5 times no one picked up. Finally someone picked up about 10.20, said they went to the wrong location due to the gps. Connected me with the cleaner and he's completely bemused on where he is told me he found it on the GPS and will be there in 1 min.

Its 10 mins, i call back again and he now says can't find the location even after me giving him the location and directions. What a shit-show. He's not even close to the street or the location i gave him. I would've been ok if they called me to tell me they were going to be late or if they tried to call me or contact me if they were at the wrong location. some kind of contact. Wont recommend.

The cleaning job by Goretti was superb. I did not micromanage her. She did her work systematically without my intervention. I was happy with the outcome and hope she will be available everytime. I would like to thank NW Maids Cleaning Service for providing a well trained and motivated person and would highly recommend their service to anyone in need of such help.

Great service, follow through, and the cleaning was very thorough. Will use again. She came within the prescribed time frame and was there from 1 pm to 6:15. I was extremely happy how easy it was to schedule and pay on line as I live in another state and arranged this as a gift for my sister. No need to come out and give an estimate, it was all done on line.

I paid a premium for a "deep cleaning" as well as for the interior of my windows to be cleaned the week that my house was going on the market. I left town the day my home was supposed to be cleaned and received a text from my real estate agent the next day during staging asking if the cleaners had not come by yet. She sent a picture of the bathroom which had seemingly been completely untouched, and it was the same case with the windows I had paid extra for.

She sent me a couple pictures of some of the worst areas, which included a very dirty paper towel in front of one of the windows she had just wiped. When I contacted NW Maids about a refund, they refused because I had only sent a picture of a "paper towel." They made me send a picture of every single window and space in the bathroom left uncleaned before they would issue even a partial refund.

A ridiculous policy, and they were condescending throughout the process. Thank goodness for my agent who then cleaned the place herself since we were out of time at that point for them to come back and fix their numerous mistakes. I would never use their service again and would recommend others avoid them unless you are in a serious pinch and will be onsite to supervise the work.

SCAM! I hired them to come to my place and clean, no ONE EVER came! No calls, no message, just the billing. This is pure scam! DO NOT put your credit card in their website!

This was my first time interacting with NW Maids and I was thoroughly impressed by their customer service and professionalism, not to mention the thoroughness with which the cleaning lady cleaned my apartment. It was in a pretty disheveled state since I had recently moved in. After the service, it would not be an exaggeration to say that my house was sparkling. I'm definitely going to be using their service again

I'm late posting this, but they were great. Did a good job cleaning and were easy to communicate with, felt like a good value.

Had a pleasant experience with NW Maids. We hired them to provide a pre move-in cleaning service. The staff did a wonderful job with the deep cleaning. I appreciate the reminders about the service date and the heads up when the staff was running late due to traffic. Will definitely hire them again. Thank you for making our lives easier, NW Maids!

Unfortunately I have to give them a terrible rating because although their cleaning service was fine, the cleaners caused $1500 in accidental damage to a sliding glass door in our rental house and management was unable and unwilling to compensate us for the damage after months of telling us they would. They continually tried to pass the buck onto the cleaning team's personal insurance, then claiming "there's nothing we can do".

Of course there is. It's called being a responsible company that takes care of its employees and customers. We ended up paying $1500 out of our own pockets even though it was a rental. Shameful.

I thought our maid was really nice and she did a decent job, but she only took barely 2 hours. 2 hours just isn't enough to do everything on their list. I requested a general cleaning and I just assumed they would take however long it would take to clean all items on the checklist for my 1200 sqft 2bed2bath apartment. Some of the surfaces in my bathrooms, kitchen, and bedrooms weren't even touched.

She didn't take out our garbage. The shower wasn't cleaned very thoroughly. She did clean the floors pretty well and she dusted some things, but not all. I think she cleaned the toilets well. She showed up on time but she left very promptly after almost 2 hours. I don't think it's her fault, but maybe add on another hour to make sure all things on your checklist actually get cleaned.

We have been using NW Maids for quite a while now for hourly cleaning as-needed for our house. We've had a few different people come to our house but yesterday we had an amazing experience with Quincy Sidney. He showed up on time, worked quickly, wore his mask the whole time and our bathrooms looked amazing when he was done. Very good experience and very polite guy!

I had a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom DEEP cleaning booked for yesterday between the hours of 2-4. Not sure what separates a regular clean from a deep clean. I was charged $299 for the following incomplete service: Cleaners showed up at 4:09 pm. One stayed until 8:38 pm and one left at 6:00 pm. First floor - bathroom untouched except for when she was on her way out the door she cleaned the toilet for obvious reasons (there was gunk inside of it the naked eye could see).

But floors and shower and surfaces were not wiped down. Bedroom the bed was made but again, surfaces were not wiped down. Second floor - kitchen: dishes in the sink were untouched, yet the dishwasher was empty. Floors were not completed (vacuumed or mopped). Surfaces were not dusted or wiped down at all. There was still obvious dust and dog hair left on the sideboard and kitchen table.

The glass stove top was completely still covered in crumbs and grease. I question the bathroom just because of the state of everything else. Dust on the floorboards and etc. Third floor - zero complaints. Excellent job. Everything was polished and cleaned to a high level. Surfaces wiped down, floorboards and trim, window sills, and bathroom. Remarkable.

Obviously all of the time was spent by this one young lady on this floor and her co-partner did nothing on the other two floors. Pictures are attached. Either someone comes back and finishes the deep cleaning I was charged for, or I get a full refund. Thank you.

I have used the cleaning service for clients, referred them to multiple clients and coworkers. Easy booking system, nice people doing the work. I tried to book a cleaning today for a house that is set up like a duplex; one unit up and equal sf on lower level. They apparently looked the property up for square footage, and wanted to charge me for both units minus $20 for the bedrooms.

I explained the situation, and there was absolutely no flexibility. I told them I would find someone else and to please delete my account. The response was that they can not adjust their policy regardless of the situation. Very shortsighted; stepping over dollars to pick up pennies.

We used NW Maids for a move out clean. We had a bunch of stuff happen with our move which boiled down to our stuff wasn't out of the house like I thought it'd be (DON'T USE MOVING BROKERS!). I couldn't reschedule due to the last minute nature of the moving fiasco and needing to be out of the apartment by the next day, and NW Maids worked with me to clean what they could and I could not be more thankful to them! They did such great work and if we were staying in the area, we'd continue to use them. Such lovely people and totally saved me with this move!

The communication with NW Maids waS outstanding. They followed up via email and text to confirm my services. I had them do a move-out clean for a rental house and the cleaners arrived on time, worked hard and fast, and got it all done. I prefer to use a service that provides a list of tasks and they did that. Will definitely use them again!

I needed to book a move-out clean quickly, and NW Maids were responsive and quick to confirm my booking. Fernando and Loreta showed up within their 2 hour time window and did a bang up job of preparing the home for the next tenants. I recommend and will use them again.

As busy professionals of a certain age, we sometimes have trouble keeping up on the cleaning. We were having guests come to stay in a few days, and despite our best intentions, we realized we were not going to be able to get our apartment into anything like presentable shape by ourselves. Enter NW maids! We went online and quickly had a quote and a plan.

On the day of cleaning there was a near-miss as our originally scheduled crew was going to be unable to reach us. Thankfully NW Maids came through with a substitute crew. The crew arrived on-time (actually a little early - but called ahead. They respected our time requirements.). They were kind, helpful, thorough, and efficient. Our apartment is cleaner than it has been in months, and we will not be ashamed when our guests arrive. Well done and kudos to NW maids! We are very pleased with the service provided.

I ended up emailing the company per the request on Yelp and got a generic macro'ed response similar to one I had gotten via text. Honestly - don't look for personalized customer service or real assistance when things go wrong.

This was my first time using a cleaning service. It was for a move out clean to make the landlords happy and to receive my deposit back. I came across this company through Yelp and at first impressions of their website and services were very promising. Everything was very easy to navigate. After booking an appointment, they have called to confirm our appointment and assured us a good clean up.

When we came to take a look at the home after the service, all I can say is wow. I have never seen a our house ever this cleaned. They all the kitchen appliances, wiped down all the cabinets, vacuumed every corner of the house, and cleaned all the bathrooms. This was a very deep clean and was worth every penny. The house was 2100 sqft, 3 bed and 3 bath and I was quoted for $359, then they offer coupons all over their website which I came across a 25$ off and brought the price down to $334.

This was wayy better than some other companies that charged by the hour, which would of ended up being about $6-900 Overall, the services were amazing, they did an amazing job with the house and I would recommend this company to anyone who is looking to get their house cleaned for a decent price!

First time I got Kendra. She did a great job. Place looked amazing. Second time I get a deep clean. I come home and see hair and leaves on my floor and numerous black specs that look like coffee grounds. Cleaners left after one hour. I have attached some pictures of the stuff I got from wiping random spots on the floor. My guess is that they dont pay too much attention and also do not clean their tools between apts. Contacted NW maids and their response was that they would refund $15 (out of 190). I hire cleaners to save some time. If I have to redo the stuff on my own it is not worth it. Deep clean + hair and stuff on floor = unacceptable

NW Maids made the process of finding cleaners very quick and east, especially on a tight schedule. The couple that came to clean the house did a very thorough job and exceeded my expectations. I would definitely use them again!

NW Maids is the third cleaning service we have tried since moving to Seattle. Happy to say that I think we've found a winner! The cleaning is impressive, the speed is great, and I love that they send lots of follow-ups and reminders so you're never surprised by your appointment. It helps a lot if you have a busy schedule.

We've been with NW Maids for over 2 yrs now (monthly or bi-monthly cleanings, depending on our need) and absolutely every single one of their workers has been kind, friendly, and hard-working. They can do just about anything & everything, though some services need a specific request (like oven cleaning). Here's a sample of services we've had done for us: strip the bed & wash the sheets (just ask) then *remake* the bed (I always hate doing this myself, so glad they do it), load the dishwasher or handwash dishes, scrub the toilets & showers, take out the trash & recycling, polish handrails, dust windowsills, mop the floor, clean the inside window panes, vacuum (obviously), even clean the inside of the microwave if you ask!

They will either use their own cleaning products & vacuum, or you can provide them with your own preferred products, they are happy to do whatever you like. Bonus: they have small trash bags for the bathroom, since I have no idea where one buys those little guys?? I will echo that on only a few occasions, we seem to have been assigned a worker who was perhaps new to the house-cleaning biz, but even then they did a nice job of doing a general cleaning.

If you get a subscription & happen to find a particular worker who does a stellar job, you can request them for future cleanings, which is what we have done. Really just an all-around great, local company who is happy to find out what you need from them so they can provide it!

The Serrato Team with NW Maids did a spectacular job at our small cat pad in Beacon Hill! They were very attentive to my requests when I greeted them at the start of the appointment. It was a real treat to return to a clean home and Sulley was happy to have a clean area around her litter box for the first time in a long, long, while. I look forward to having them stop by again in the future!

Arrived within the 2 hour window. The cleaner was courteous and paid attention to detail. No harsh chemicals and the house was sparkling. Signing up for every 3 weeks.

We chose NW Maids based on the good reviews and easy booking system. Bookings do payment is super easy online and their team replies really quick if you have any questions. Ladies arrived as promised and started cleaning right away. We requested deep cleaning and everything was looking perfect after they left. I think they did a good job ! My only feedback was that they used pretty fragrant cleaning products and I am sensitive to all kinds of smells. Requested to add a note to use low odor products next time which they said they will do.

I used them for the first time when moving out of an apartment. Quick service and great communication. And the apartment looked spotless when they were done!

I have been so happy with NW Maids and their service. They are always on time and the cleaners are exceptional. My last lady was so thorough and kind- she dusted my paintings and even cleaned under the stovetop range. My apartment is always sparkling when the NW Maids are finished. One time, I didn't hear the buzzer, so I accidentally missed their ringing up.

That caused them to wait for 30 minutes. I was horrified when I looked at my phone and saw that they had buzzed. I called immediately to apologize and reschedule, and not only were they SO NICE and gracious about it, they came back immediately and cleaned my place! While their cleaning abilities are fantastic, it's really their friendly attitude and kindness that go a long way for me as a customer.

I sometimes leave clean sheets on the bed and the ladies know to change them. I am sometimes home, sometimes gone, and I feel very safe trusting my home and all its contents to this service. I haven't had the same cleaners twice, but all have been great, especially the last lady who came on her own and lugged her floor steamer with her. I try to keep my place neat and tidy, but a once a month deep clean from professionals makes all the difference.

Booked NW maids for a rental property I have after a a tenant left it in less then ideal condition. They did an all around fantastic job and I won't hesitate to hire them again.

Made my whole month!! The fantastic cleaner spent 45 minutes on the bathroom - we have a glass door shower and it's impossible for me to clean good. Not for her! It looks new again. Being a work from home, stay at home mom to a toddler it's been difficult to get the house as clean as I like - I'm usually working when not with my son. She did a superb job. I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders. If you're on he fence about hiring this cleaning service, take my advice and do it!

We had a first time cleaning for our bungalow in Wallingford. The crew was on time and were very professional in their approach. They did a fantastic job and greatly exceeded my expectations. We have not had good luck with cleaning services in the past and I am happy to say that NW Maids has changed all that for us. Strongly recommend them.
